Eric J. Wunsch, Esq.

Eric Wunsch is an Associate at Watton Law Group who brings fresh ideas to every case. Admitted to practice in the State of Missouri, as well as the US District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. He is known for looking for creative ways to help people and families use bankruptcy and other debt-relief options to their maximum benefit.

Throughout his education, Eric loved to analyze and solve complicated problems. He was also intrigued by the law and how it could be used to help people out of difficult situations. Naturally, he steered toward a legal career, so after attending the University of Oklahoma for his freshman undergraduate year, he transferred to Missouri State University; there, he was able to take more courses better suited to preparing him for his J.D., which he would complete at the University of Missouri School of Law a few years later. Excitingly, Eric was able to pass the bar exam quickly and start searching for a law firm to call home without delay.

Attorney Wunsch began his legal career as a civil defense attorney. In this role, he learned the ins and outs of courtroom procedures, the importance of paying attention to even the smallest detail in a case, and the right way to communicate transparently with clients at every step. All these skills and experiences made it simple for him to join Watton Law Group and apply his talents and perspective to our clients’ bankruptcy and debt relief cases. Like everyone at our firm, he is passionate about highlighting the positive sides of bankruptcy, so our clients feel less stressed about potentially using it.

In his free time, Eric likes to stay active by playing golf and softball, as well as walking his dog. He is an avid fan of the local St. Louis sports teams and often enjoys a game day with his friends.
