He earned his undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State University and his Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law, where he served as Senior Notes Editor for the Washburn Law Review.

In his free time, Mr. Simmons stays active through workouts, trying new pursuits, following sports, and embracing opportunities to learn and grow both personally and professionally.
